Yoyo: a Living Wage Employer
We are thrilled to announce our commitment to becoming a Living Wage Employer. At Yoyo, we totally recognise that fair and equitable pay is a fundamental aspect of growing a thriving and sustainable digital agency. By implementing this initiative, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of our team and contribute to the broader well-being of our community.
We believe that our team is our greatest asset. They work hard, dedicate themselves to our agency and bring huge value individually and collectively as a team. For this reason and many more, we are committed to providing them with a living wage that reflects the true cost of living in our community.
Becoming a Living Wage Employer means that our team earns a wage that allows them to meet their basic needs, support their families, and participate fully in their community. We commit to regularly reviewing and adjusting our pay practices to align with the living wage standards and make sure that every single one of our team receives fair pay for their hard work.

This decision totally aligns with our agency values which are to prioritise our people, the planet and and our community. By paying a living wage, we not only enhance the quality of life for our team, but we also foster a happier, more motivated group of hard working individuals and keeping them happy and thriving will only ever contribute to the success of our growing agency.
As well as benefiting our employees, becoming a Living Wage Employer is an opportunity for us to contribute to the economic prosperity of our community. By setting a positive example, we hope to inspire other businesses in our industry and beyond to join us. Together, we can work towards reducing income inequality and creating a more equitable society.
We continue to commit to raise our base level salaries, as well as the salaries for the rest of the team. The cost of living is affecting so many people, so through salaries, profit-share and one off, cost-of-living payments, we aim to support our team as much as possible.
We have a transparent, measured commitment to reducing our gender pay gap which is currently at 5%. Compared to the industry average of 14%, it is good, but compared to our goals, we still have a way to go, which we are reviewing regularly.
Lastly, we have a cap on the difference between our lowest and highest paid team members - this is set at 5x, whereas the average is more than 20x.
We are excited about the journey ahead and the positive impact it will have on the lives of our team, their families, and our community. By becoming a Living Wage Employer, Yoyo reaffirms our commitment to our team’s well-being, fairness, and social development.
We are very proud to announce that Yoyo is taking a significant step towards ensuring fair compensation for all our employees by becoming a Living Wage Employer. We believe that our team deserves more than just a paycheck; they deserve the peace of mind that comes with knowing they can meet their basic needs and support their families. By committing to a living wage, we are not only investing in the well-being of our employees but also fostering a stronger, more resilient workforce.
