Huge wins for Yoyo in the first quarter of 2018

The local creative digital sector continues to thrive, proving that Tunbridge Wells agencies can attract global brands and-high profile campaigns. Yoyo Design is at the forefront of this sector, with 2018 being a hugely significant year for the agency’s growth.

The last 5 months has seen the agency bringing on a raft of new clients, such as Woodland Trust, University of Southampton, Lord’s Taverners, ICE Benevolent Fund and many more.

The University of Southampton win was hugely significant for the agency, due to the university’s heritage and global reputation for excellence. The 12 month campaign (and potentially beyond) is to reach and engage with the University’s alumni. It involved a competitive tender process, in which Yoyo put forward a selection of creative ideas, and a detailed communication plan.

Sara Thompson, Senior Regular Giving and Engagement Manager, said:
‘The decision to award this substantial piece of work to Yoyo was not difficult. Their innovative, extremely well thought through proposal and concepts coupled with their clear talent for strategy and planning enthused us from the word go. They are creative as well as strategic, challenging as well as understanding, and this was extremely well articulated in their pitch and proposal documents.

Considering the diversity of the wealth of clients in Yoyo’s portfolio, we were, and continue to be, bowled over by the level of understanding of and support for the various challenges our particular sector presents. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach here – Yoyo’s ideas and proposals, from pitch to today, have been considered, innovative and entirely bespoke to the University and its unique needs.

Yoyo manages to strike that often elusive balance – they offer the knowledge, expertise and experience of a large agency, with the dedicated support, creativity and approachability of a small agency. They are a pleasure to work with and I look forward to the significant influence they will support us to have on the entire higher education sector.’

“Some opportunities come along which are pure gold. The subject is interesting, the client is brave, we have the right expertise to add significant value, and the team are buzzing about the potential. In these circumstances, you just throw everything at it, and we did. The hard work is continuing and I cannot wait to see the results in the coming 12 months.”
