The making of JDO
JDO are one of the UK’s top 5 brand agencies, working with clients including Jack Daniels, Dove and Carlsberg. They came to Yoyo looking to replace their out-dated Flash site with a web presence that could showcase the agency’s impressive portfolio and capture their fun, creative culture.
We created a ‘JDO’ brand experience online through a highly creative responsive website to help position them as market leaders. We used a number of coding techniques to create depth and movement across the site to create a 3-dimensional feel and make the experience more unique to JDO’s core service offering of product packaging. We also tapped into gyroscopic motion to deliver a superior experience for tablet and mobile users.
The website has supported JDO's growth plans as a leading UK agency. Being a company with design at the heart of everything they do, we were all thrilled to be nominated for 'Website design of the year' at The Drum Design Awards. Beaten only by the BBC 'Story of Now'.
