Creating a relatable new brand empowering gig workers with speed, simplicity, and financial freedom.
Our new partners Gigzze are creating a more inclusive gig economy landscape as the only financial solution that partners exclusively with its customers and lenders to provide a seamless experience. We came in to set them up with a brand identity that spoke to exactly who they are.

The opportunity
Gigzzee is disrupting the payday lending sector, by giving gig economy workers easy access to the financial support they need. From pay advances and immediate access to funds, to products like insurance and fuel cards, this exciting new startup is setting gig workers up for success.
Positioned at the intersection of tech and financial services, Gigzzee is poised to become a one-stop marketplace worldwide. But their initial brand fell short when it came to reflecting their mission and goals. It was too corporate, lacking the relatability and accessibility needed to engage their diverse audience. Gigzzee needed a brand that mirrored their straightforward, supportive values while establishing legitimacy and trust as they expanded globally.
With a tight deadline and a streamlined team, Gigzzee knew they could trust us to reinvent their brand and give them the strategy they needed to firmly establish themselves as the modern, honest and flexible organisation they wanted to be.

The business need
With competitors like Onsi, Level FT, and Monzo, Gigzzee needed to differentiate itself as the go-to solution for gig workers. The initial brand also lacked the flexibility and adaptability required for Gigzzee’s aspiration of reaching 1 million registered users in five years, with global scalability in mind.
The customer need
The brand’s visual and verbal identity had to align with their vision so that it resonated with both gig workers and prospective channel partners. The brand felt too corporate and financially elite, distancing itself from the gig economy workers that it aimed to support.

Our approach
The team needed more than just a light-touch refresh - they needed a comprehensive strategy to understand their audience, unify their messaging and clarify exactly how they wanted to convey themselves. As the team behind Gigzzee had come from a gig economy background themselves, we were able to use their inside scoop, alongside competitor analysis and inspirational brands to firmly establish Giggzee as the way forward for the gig economy.
Creating contemporary appeal in line with audience expectations.
Drawing inspiration from modern challenger banking systems, we collaborated with the team at Gigzzee to develop a visual identity that was sleek and streamlined, while still being accessible and mobile-first. Considering that gig workers are predominantly digital natives, the design had to boost relevance and credibility.
We centred the concept around dynamic visual elements - primarily, a flexible, isometric cash icon to reflect growth and multi-currency adaptability. This was complemented by tailored typography and a bold colour palette to give Gigzzee a distinctive and professional presence as a brand. The result? Branding that could be applied across contexts, from tote bags and t-shirts, to billboards and bank cards. Assets were created with growth in mind, establishing a system that would seamlessly adapt as Gigzzee expanded into different markets and sectors, such as healthcare and retail.
Communicating the value proposition with clarity and care.
We wanted what Gigzzee did to speak for itself. We honed their mission into an engaging and digestible explainer video, using 3D animation to convey the opportunities they presented in a way that was easy to understand and relatable.
By losing the out-of-touch monogram, elitist language, and stock imagery, we were able to create a brand that not only felt warmer and more accessible, but also focused on the tangible benefits for partners and gig workers alike. Opting for vibrancy and simplicity meant that Gigzzee’s visuals were in line with their positioning as honest, supportive, and straightforward.
The results
With a fresh, forward-thinking brand, Gigzzee is now equipped to achieve its ambitious vision of empowering gig workers worldwide. From a dynamic visual identity to accessible-first design and global scalability, the new brand ensures Gigzzee stands out as a legitimate, trusted player in the gig economy space.
The Gigzzee team is already looking ahead with ambitious plans for automation, app development, and innovative partnerships - so watch this space.

Working with the team was amazing from start to finish and I liked the way Yoyo challenged our thinking and made sure we were clear to the consumer on what we offered. The results actually backed this up during our first 6 weeks of trading and now we are looking to scale!
