Gigzzee
Brand / UI / UX / Development
To help Gigzzee disrupt the financial sector, we traded "corporate" for "contemporary." We partnered with them to build a high-energy, mobile-first brand that empowers gig workers worldwide, replacing complex jargon with 3D storytelling and a dynamic visual identity built for global scale.
Creating a relatable new brand empowering gig workers with speed, simplicity, and financial freedom.
Gigzzee is on a mission to fix a broken financial sector. By providing gig workers with instant pay advances, insurance, and fuel cards, they are giving a global workforce the tools to succeed on their own terms. However, their original identity felt "traditional bank", too corporate, too elite, and too disconnected from the fast-paced lives of the people they serve. To scale globally, Gigzzee needed a brand that felt like a partner, not a platform.
Strategic focus
Challenging the Status Quo
We helped Gigzzee move away from elitist monograms and stock imagery, replacing them with a vibrant, accessible design system that works everywhere, from bank cards to billboards.
The "Growth" Iconography
We developed a dynamic, isometric cash icon. This isn't just a graphic; it’s a flexible visual metaphor for multi-currency adaptability and financial momentum.
Global Scalability
We built a modular brand architecture designed to flex across different cultures and languages as Gigzzee expands its marketplace worldwide.
From corporate to contemporary.
We didn't just want to change a logo; we wanted to change a conversation. Our strategy focused on moving away from "financial jargon" toward a visual and verbal language that resonates with digital natives. We looked at the challenger banking space for inspiration, aiming for a "mobile-first" aesthetic that feels as fast as a tap-to-pay transaction.
The execution: Clarity with a human touch.
To make the value proposition crystal clear, we traded long-form text for high-impact storytelling. We produced a bespoke 3D animation that explains the "Gigzzee Advantage" in seconds making the complex world of pay advances feel simple and supportive. By stripping away the "corporate mask," we created a brand that feels warm, trustworthy, and most importantly relatable to the everyday hero of the gig economy.
Working with the team was amazing from start to finish and I liked the way Yoyo challenged our thinking and made sure we were clear to the consumer on what we offered. The results actually backed this up during our first 6 weeks of trading and now we are looking to scale!
