Reimagining a brand and website to reflect a new era.
A leading provider of quality assurance services, in 2023 Zoonou made history by becoming the first software testing company in the UK to transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (pretty impressive eh?!). This marked a new chapter - one which required a refreshed brand and an updated digital presence which would represent their values, mission and commitment to innovation.
That’s why they came to Yoyo for support. Through a collaborative process, we helped Zoonou evolve their brand identity and build a website that’s visually compelling, future-proofed and designed to generate leads.



The opportunity
Zoonou had great success with their old brand, becoming a trusted partner for private, public and third-sector clients alike. But, with their business rapidly evolving, their branding and website no longer accurately represented them. The existing site wasn’t just outdated visually, it had unclear user journeys and complex backend - making updates difficult and lead generation inefficient.
We knew that by crafting a fresh identity and new website we could communicate their unique story, highlight their incredible work and increase leads.



The business need
As Zoonou embraced their status as an EOT, they needed to reposition themselves to reflect their new structure. They wanted to attract more purpose-driven clients, and they needed their team to be able to easily manage and update content.
The customer need
From government organisations to fast-moving tech companies, Zoonou’s cross-industry clients have one thing in common: they all need a testing partner they can trust. So the new website had to establish credibility, provide clear navigation and showcase Zoonou’s proven track record in quality assurance.


Our approach
Like always, we took a strategic, insight-driven approach to create a website and brand that truly reflect the company’s ethos. Starting with in-depth discovery, we ran workshops with the Zoonou team to define their new values, understand their target audience and clarify their business needs.
Collaboratively crafting a bold brand.
Our design team then got cracking crafting a fresh, modern brand identity that nods to their employee-owned status and differentiates them from competitors. We collaborated closely with Zoonou, establishing regular feedback loops to keep everyone aligned on overarching aims and ensure the final brand was one the whole team would love.
Strengthening SEO, improving UX, migrating the CMS.
With their identity sorted, it was time to get building a new site. We carefully applied the newly-crafted branding to web designs. All while focusing on improving SEO, enhancing user journeys and increasing conversions.
We moved Zoonou away from WordPress onto a flexible, scalable Umbraco CMS. This allowed for a streamlined user experience and seamless integration with HubSpot. Thanks to Umbraco’s ease of use, the team can now confidently make site changes without external support. Once everything was built, Zoonou’s own team put their new website through rigorous quality assurance testing (of course) to guarantee ultimate accessibility. Spoiler alert: it passed.

The results
Zoonou now has a bold, cohesive brand identity which showcases the values that set them apart. Their new website is seamless, scalable and built to support the company’s growth in this next chapter, and beyond.
