To help the Royal Voluntary Service unite 34 of the UK’s largest charities, we built a digital home for a movement. We delivered a high-impact, accessibility-first platform on a sprint schedule, ensuring the "Shaping the Future" initiative launched in time for Volunteers' Week with a scalable foundation built for long-term change.
The ambition.
Every year, hundreds of millions of volunteering hours are lost. To combat this, the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) led a massive coalition of 34 of the UK's largest charities to create "Shaping the Future with Volunteering." This wasn't just a project; it was a movement. They needed a digital presence that was as credible as the organizations behind it and they needed it live, loud, and accessible in time for Volunteers' Week.

As a trusted partner to RVS, we knew how to move fast without losing the human touch. The mission was to unite 34 respected brands under one digital roof without the bloat of a traditional, multi-year build. We pivoted to an agile, design-led approach that prioritised clarity, impact, and a "ready-to-scale" architecture.
Pixels with purpose.
We spent the first six weeks intensely focused on design, using moodboards to bridge the gap between RVS’s established identity and the coalition’s unique mission. By locking down a modular sitemap early, we allowed the development team to build with total confidence. The result is a layout that balances inspiration with absolute clarity, ensuring every visitor understands the stakes and knows how to take action.
